Topic: Selling Your CDs

If you want to sell your cds then make sure the demos sound good.

The whole point of holy hiphop is to get the youth to hear the Word through our rap ministries and to give the youth that option of having an alternative when they choose to no longer listen to secular music.

So its got to be good. You should have at least 50 cds made to sell every time you go minister somewhere and you should also have a separate  cd made to use as a tool for witnessing.. to give out for free. I know it cost money to buy blank CDs and it takes time to maake copies but you and your ministry will be blessed by doing that.
 
 

I had just recently been feeling convicted about something and I would like to share about it. Bert (Sir Bug Out) and I spoke about this a while ago and I had a different view back then, til now. 

I was watching a dvd sermon by Craige Lewis (www.exministries.com) and he spoke on secular music. If you have any music that has nothing to do with God or was written with no intent to worship God then you should get rid of it. He explained how most hip-hop groups can't even write songs without being under the influence of drugs, which is opening themselves to the anointing of satan. Satan's job was to create music to worship God. Satan knows that he can't get us to worship him directly so he'll do it through music.

When Christians are playing secular music in worship or our kids are listening to their walkman's while they sleep, that's just putting whatever is in that song or whatever that song's talking about into their spirit. If God is not the focus of that song then clean out your house, car, studio or even church. So many people let things slide and don't even see how music can change their attitude. Even just beats. God doesn't need the world's beats. We can make our own, after prayer, with the anointing of God. 

That's pretty much how I feel. I don't know if everything came out right but this is what I feel. God is calling us to reach the world not to be like the world. They need to see the difference in us.
