For 11 years the Salem Coffee House hosted what is now known as Rap Fest. Every year, dozens of ministries from all over the United States, and even outside of the U.S., share the stage for this 8 hour , non stop, Christian hip hop event. The event is held in the old fashioned "Block Party" style. Our goal is to evangelize the local communities using a language that is relevant to the youth
today.
The 12th Rap Fest was held on Arthur Avenue near Tremont park where over 5,000 people were in attendance. This year, Rap Fest 2007 will be on
August 11, 2007 on Randall Avenue between White Plains Road and Pugsley Avenue.
We encourage you to bring your beach chairs, some money to buy home cooked meals and also to buy CDs. Most importantly, we ask that you invite all of your unsaved (those that have not accepted Christ as their personal Savior) friends to witness this yearly event. This is our 13th year and we pray that you can be with us.

God Bless You.
